RIA (Radioimmunoassay) vial is a small, clear test vial usually made of polypropylene (PP) or polystyrene (PS) that comes with a tight-fitting stopper or cap to prevent contamination, evaporation, and spillage during sensitive assay procedures.

These vials are used for incubation, mixing, and centrifugation of samples in immunoassay testing, particularly when handling radioactive isotopes

Usage Instructions

1. Label the vial with sample or reagent ID.

2. Add sample/reagent using a micropipette or dispenser.

3. Seal with the stopper to prevent evaporation or leakage.

4. Incubate or centrifuge as per RIA protocol.

5. Measure radioactivity (if applicable) directly in the vial.

6. Dispose of used vials following radioactive waste guidelines.
